Guide to Snapchat Ads
Guide to Snapchat Ads is a self-serve ad platform that allows brands of all sizes and budgets to run ads at affordable prices. Minimum spend requirements don’t exist and you can pay per impression or goal, plus there are many different ad formats to choose from.
You can reach people on Snapchat through targeted placements that include ad slots within Snap curated content, publisher stories, and between friends’ videos. You can also reach users with Snap-matched audiences and lookalike audiences based on their interests and behaviors (including what they’ve bought, watched, and where they’ve been).
When creating an ad, select your objective from the top left of the screen and set a budget and timeframe. Then choose your delivery method—whether it’s Automatic Delivery or Manual Placement. Automatic Delivery will optimize your ad for performance while Manual Placement lets you determine where your ad should be delivered.
In the Creative section, select from pre-made templates for Snapchat’s most popular ad types (images and video). Or upload your own visuals or create new ones using the ad creation tool. When you’re done, click Review & Publish to finalize the campaign details and submit payment information.
